Mission:
Trillius Prime
Location: Shuttle Bay
Heath Stoudemire sat in shuttle pod one with the small craft powered up and ready to launch. The ship had been engaged in battle with the pirates for the last few minutes, which felt like a longer period of time. But now things had calmed down with the battle going on outside the Meridian. Inside the shuttle bay were the MACOs who were suited up, armed and ready to jump in the shuttle pod when given the orders to proceed.
Entering the shuttle bay, Gunnery Sergeant Antonio Lopez placed his phaser on his hip. A MACO handed the senior enlisted man a phaser rifle which he immediately powered up. "Alright folks gather around."
The six MACOs gathered the Lopez as instructed. Nodding at his people gathered around him, the Gunnery Sergeant clapped his hands together. "We all know the assignment. Get in and recover this crazy ass pirate. Then return with him alive. Remember people we all get back here safely. Hoorah!!!"
"You heard the Gunny, MOUNT UP!!" Eli's voice boomed as he entered the shuttlebay. "Check your rigs and ammo, cause we ain't coming back for a while."
"Hoorah!!!" the group replied. Heath watched the interaction from the pilots seat, the MACOs then quickly boarded the shuttle.
Eli boarded after the MACOs, taking the last seat before the doors closed.
Sitting across from the CO, Antonio looked up and smiled. "Regardless of how long I've been doing this. I still get excited as if I'm twenty something years old again."
Heath couldn't help but laugh as he piloted the ship out of the shuttle bay. The pirate ship was a adrift with the engines out of action for a while. Finding the hatch, the Chief Petty Officer attached the pod to the side of the ship. "We're secure. I'll leave you all to take it from here."
The First Sergeant waited for the Eli to give the order to disembark the shuttle. On the other side of the door, likely would be quite a bit of resistance. But this why had thousands of hours in training. The Sergeant in the group moved to the front of the team pulling out a stun grenade, ready to breach the ship.
“Stack up” Eli said, bringing his rifle to his chest, standing on the other side of the door opposite of the gunnery sergeant. Covering the door.
“Gunny, stand by for breech”
With his own weapon up, the Gunnery Sergeant was ready to go with the rest of the group stacking up behind the Major and himself. "Ready on your mark Sir."
Once given the word, the doors to the pirate were breached, followed by the stun grenade being tossed in. Before the awaiting pirates could react, the device detonated. What came afterwards were the MACO's now on the ship quickly firing down the corridor at anyone who was left standing. Two MACOs took a knee and fired off several shots picking off the pirates one by one. Once the bodies officially dropped, the team quickly made their way down the corridor.
The squad moved methodically and anyone poor soul that came across them found themselves the victim of a phaser rifle. Lopez smiled realizing that this group lacked any military training. They probably fared well by being fortunate enough not to cross paths with anyone with the ability to truly fight back.
=Bridge=
Jysol stood on the bridge with his weapon pointed towards the door. A team from this so-called Starfleet ship had managed to get aboard their ship and they found themselves adrift. Every time, he sent someone down to intercept the invaders, silence was all that he was left with. The First Officer knew one that their greed would one day get them here. Going through his mind was the thought of never seeing his family again.
"Don't look so worried," Captain Tur spoke. Pointing over to the main viewer, they noticed of their own ship appear out of nowhere. "Things are about to change in our favor."
Before he could truly finish his sentence, the doors blew open and a stun grenade was tossed in. The pirates did thero best to scramble and duck for cover. The MACOs flanked around the bridge as the pirates did their best to mount up some kind of resistence. Tur grabbed a pirate under his command using the poor guy as a shield. Taking a few hits, the poor guy dropped to the floor.
Firing a shot, Jysol took out of the MACOs but found himself on the ground after taking a shot to the knee. Looking around, he could see where his Captain had his hands in the air in a position of surrender.
"Drop your weapons," Tur instructed the few remaining bridge crew that was left standing.
As the squad, quickly cussed the Captain. Lopez took a step forward, smiling at the Tur arrogantly. "MACOs to Meridian. The package has been secured."
"You can just leave with our Captain," Elim spoke through the obvious pain in his leg.
"Looks like you have much bigger problems," the Gunnery Sergeant brought up. "So, I am going to resist the urge to shoot you while head back to our shuttle. Unless you gave me a reason. Do I need to shoot you?"
Still grasping his leg, he looked at the others around the bridge. Who were being restrained. "There is no need for that."
"Thank you." The MACOs secured the pirates weapons and began making their way off the bridge back through the corridor with Tur in tow.
=Shuttle=
Back on the shuttle, Stoudemire had been watching the Meridian trying to fight off these two ships that came out of nowhere. Getting back to the Meridian was now going to be an issue that he was going to have to solve. Watching the squad come around the corner, he began powering up the engines just in case someone was chasing them down. To his surprise, the team wasn't experiencing any resistance whatsoever. Which made him wonder, if anyone truly gave a damn about this Captain who was shoved through the door of the shuttle. "Out guest doesn't look too pleased to be here."
"He should be happy that we snatched him up," Antonio spoke as the hatch door was secured. "The Meridian smells a lot better than this ship."
