Physical Description T’Ria is of slightly above average height for a Vulcan female. Her body is long and lean with subtle curves. She is considered aesthetically pleasing, sharp cheek bones, lips that are slightly too full (wasted on a being who doesn’t smile), and striking hazel eyes that appear to be the color of fine whisky with flecks of gold and green which is a rare color on the world of her birth. Her skin is bronze, with a subtle green undertone, and she keeps her long black hair pulled up in an intricate bun. If it were brushed out it would near her hips. Her hands are long, with narrow, dexterous fingers tipped with almond shaped, medium length nails – painted a nude color to blend with her skin.

Secretly grieving the loss of her mate

T’Ria’s strengths are varied. She is calm under stress – which is quite a strength given her profession and has the confidence (perhaps arrogance) that all successful surgeons possess that they can fix anything/beat the odds. She has no issues following chain of command, however on the flip side has no issues broaching questions or speaking up regarding concerns over any questionable orders. She is no diplomat and does not possess a ‘silver-tongue.’ She can come across as unsubtle or bossy when she has an idea and believes it to be the best course of action. Some can construe this as being arrogant or haughty, but T’Ria usually has a good reason for ‘arguing’ a point. Really good VULCAN reasons that no doubt translate quite poorly to off-worlders.
Hobbies & Interests T’Ria finds physical activity to be personally gratifying. When not on duty, or meditating as required, she is often found in the gym. Running is a form of meditation in motion for her – it also could be a metaphor for what she is doing regarding what she is doing with the internalized grief she is experiencing. More research needs to be performed on this subject to make any further objective determinations.
She is also an avid reader / researcher. It is a necessary requirement to keep up on the latest medical findings, so T’Ria is often seen with her head down reading a padd, especially at mealtimes. (Although sometimes it’s not medical research…she might have a secret ‘passion’ for Earth romances.)

Also, perhaps against her better judgement, T’Ria is fascinated with alien culture – which is why she studied xenobiology and focused beyond Vulcan physiology in medical school. It guaranteed her a rare/valuable slot off-world to practice medicine. Although Vulcan is her home, it is a restrictive place, and she had always desired the opportunity to explore beyond her planet, people, and culture. If given an opportunity to try new things, be it food/drink/activities, she will attempt it unless it goes against any deeply ingrained cultural taboos.

Personal History T’Ria was born to Soren and L’Saya, who served as diplomatic Counselors under Ambassador Solkar and then Soval on Earth (at the Vulcan Consulate) in the early 2100s. She is an only child, and was conceived / born on Earth, and did not step foot on her home world until her early teen years when her parents were recalled back to Shi’Kahr for reassignment to continue their diplomatic duties on Vulcan. Vulcan never felt like ‘home’ to her. Her own people were more alien-like than the humans she engaged with while living on Earth. It proved to be a difficult transition for her.

It had been hoped that T’Ria would follow in her parents’ footsteps, however she showed little preference, and even less aptitude for such diplomatic duties. T’Ria was curious about the world beyond the restrictive yoke of Vulcan society. Perhaps it was due to her early years on Earth, or being exposed to a number of fascinating aliens, but T’Ria found the study of biology (especially xenobiology) to be particularly gratifying. When she declared that she wanted to be a physician, her parents readily agreed to her request, knowing this role would suit their daughter far better.
She entered the VSA and met her betrothed, N’Vid. He too had his eyes turned away from Vulcan, but his specialism singled him out for service in the V’Shar. They married at the appointed place when the time came for such things and on the surface appeared well-suited to one another. It was presumed that over time, their bond would strengthen – once they had the time available to devote to such a thing. N’Vid was gone for long periods of time while on various assignments. This was superficially convenient, as once she had completed medical school and her initial residency in Trauma / Surgical Services, she was accepted into the Interspecies Medical Exchange and began additional studies/training back on Earth to focus on xenomedicine. Her mate was sent on a long-term classified assignment near the completion of her medical training.

In 2161, the United Federation of Planets was formed. T’Ria was approached by Earth’s Starfleet Command - and was offered a position onboard one of their ships – as a token of goodwill, no doubt (besides that she was qualified to treat a number of species based on her education/training). Vulcan High Command approved of the assignment, and she readily accepted.

A week prior to ‘shipping out,’ T’Ria felt a strange absence within her, a curious—most disagreeable—emptiness. She lost consciousness and awoke in a small medical bay and was given a clean bill of health. T’Ria did not need a full body scan to know what was wrong. N’Vid’s presence was gone from her mind. She contacted Vulcan High Command for explanation – but was given nothing other than she did not have the clearance necessary to obtain any information about that particular V’Shar officer.
